Home

We arrived home yesterday, so glad to be back. Thanks for all your prayers and support!

Israel’s airport has kept  on  been in lock down up till the 22nd February, with possible lock further downs being planned.
Yvette and I decided to go the medical evacuation route. We claimed against our medical insurance with Discovery, and found out that I was disqualified because I was traveling for medical procedure.
The Hospital recommended A person that could assist. He put a plan together in 72 hour. We self funded the evac. We left Israel on the 9th February.
We flew from Ben Gurion airport to Istanbul, then to Johannesburg on Turkish airlines.
We were in Israel for 2 and a half months. And have experienced the country from a different view. We have made some friends  there.

Stuck in Israel

Our latest update. 😐
We were booked to fly last night  but our flight was cancelled again. Also had  to get other accommodation as we were checking out. The flight was moved to Friday but was then cancelled again😭 after the Israeli government decided to ban all flights coming in and going out till Sunday.

We are now booked to fly Monday evening the 9th. Please pray with us that it will be possible. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
We will be going to the hospital as my blood levels may not be high enough for him to fly, do covid tests.. again, as this needs to be done 72 hours before the flight.

Very difficult times we are living in. Gone are the days of just booking a air ticket and hotel and jump on the plane and off you go.
Greetings from Israel
