You will have to share with EZ and I exactly what Lekker Braai is. Looks like brats to me and you must be quite the grill master! Beautiful setting and you look to be feeling well!
Hi Linda, Lekker Braai, is very much an afrikaans word. Actually "Lekker Braai" is quite a unique word, quite hard to put into English, is very descriptive, it means something like, "its nice to Barbecue again", Lekker means nice, enjoyable, fun, etc. Braai means barbecue. We eat "wors" which is sausage, and the other meat are "chops" I'm not sure if that is an English or Afrikaans word.
Anyway, as South Africans our heritage is the "Braai", as you see we have taken on the "Webber", but also enjoy bush veld braai's with indigenous wood that you only get in Africa.
